A full-scale trail running race that connects two mountain ranges, Muro-Akame-Aoyama Quasi-National Park and Suzuka Quasi-National Park, this event tests participants' overall running ability and technique. This lets you enjoy ninja-style training in the mountains of Iga, the same mountains where Iga ninja would have trained eons ago.

Every year on November 2 and 3, a festival is held at Ōmura Shrine, known as the place where the guardian deity of earthquakes is enshrined. The procession includes portable shrines and a unique Shishimai (Lion Dance), as well as a large catfish-shaped float. The lion dance performed at Ōmura Shrine’s autumn festival is called Shishi Kagura, and it is said that all lion dances in Iga can be traced back to Aekuni Shrine in the Ichinomiya area of Iga.
