A popular destination for visitors, this place exhibits and sells works by 40 kilns and pottery artists and sells goody bags and products from Kamado-san, Nagatanien’s popular Iga Ware rice cooker. The family’s more than 200-year-old mansion and gardens are also open to the public for exhibitions of works and hospitality through Nodate (open-air tea ceremony). The event is a great success every year, with popular items available at great prices.

To spread legend of Chikata Cave, this event takes participants on a walk through the forest to Chikata Cave and throw Chikata rice cakes. After walking around the vicinity of Chikata Cave, enjoy an easy-to-understand picture-story about The Legend of Chikata held at the community center.
