This is a wide-area farm road connecting the cities of Iga and Nabari. As the name "corridor" implies, this 94.5-kilometer road loops between the two cities. With few traffic signals, it is a very easy road to cycle on.

At an elevation of about 600 meters, this pass connects Nishiyama in Iga with the Tarao area of Shigarakicho in the city of Koka. Tokugawa Ieyasu is said to have been guided over this pass with the assistance of the people of Iga and Koka as he passed through Iga, and this location also appears in the novel Owls’ Castle.

Just off National Route 163, go upstream from Hirose along the tributary of the river. When you reach the tiny village of Oku-Umano, you can already feel the breath of the trees. The clear waters of the Umano Valley soothe the soul along with the changing seasons. This area is also a prime spot for red spotted masu trout fishing for those in the know.

Experience panoramic views of Ise Bay at Aoyama Highlands, a plateau towering along the border between the cities of Tsu and Iga. Also referred to as the Karuizawa of Kansai, the Aoyama Highlands are a great location for a scenic drive packed with stunning views. With scenic nature hikes and Okuyama Gongen (Okuyama Atago Shrine), there's plenty to see and do.

Dozens of wind turbines for a large-scale wind power generator have been built near the summit, letting you get up close to them for a powerful sight to behold. You can also visit Kaze no Megumi no Yakata, a facility where you can have fun learning about renewable energy.
